A gas Explosion in Kisaasi-Kampala Blows a House
Police’s fire department has responded to multiple explosions on Saturday evening in Kikulu zone in Kisaasi, Kampala.
Kampala Metropolitan Spokesperson Luke Owesigire in a statement said property has been destroyed but “no death of persons confirmed sofar.”
He said the police’s firefighter are at the scene to put out the fire.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the house was having a lot of gas cylinders and each were going off one at time making multiple blasts.
” Our officers are currently at the scene fighting the fire with hope of extinguishing it soon,’ he said adding that “you shall be updated accordingly on the situation.”
