Bunyoro Premier Andrew Byakutaga visits Buliisa Flood affected people.

The Prime Minister of Bunyoro Rt. Hon. Andrew Byakutaga on Thursday afternoon visited various landing sites in Buliisa district that have been hit by floods.
Water levels in Lake Albert have risen and consequently hundreds of homes on the shores of the lake have been submerged.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Owek Nyendwoha Mutiti, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Owek Francis Mugerwa, the Special Assistant for Communications and Public Relations.

The team observed that hundreds of families have been displaced and they are in dire need of food, clean water, mosquito nets and other necessities.
The Kingdom has appealed to Government and humanitarian agencies to give Care and support to the affected communities.
The Kingdom is making a comprehensive assessment on the effects of the floods on communities at the Lake.
