The Ministry of Health fumigation team completed a thorough exercise of fumigating/disinfecting Namagabi SSS where the contacts were before the relocation to Kayunga main hospital a week ago, they included fumigating Canan Junior School of Nazigo where the Truck Driver was hiding in the Ceiling,Nazigo Demonstration School,Kamuli Umea Primary School,Disinfecting the 2Trucks &Homes of the Two new Truck Drivers who made 10 COVID 19 Cases for Kayunga District alone 6 Being Truck Drivers,2 are their Contacts& 2First Cases from Bbaale who recovered &Safe at their Home.
All this was done in the Presence of the RDC, DPC, DHO, Health Workers &the Board of Governors for Namagabi SSS who included Councilor Ntambi Isma, Hajji Ssendyose Muhammad &Maama Nakankya Gladys who appreciated the teams for the good work &they appealed to the Parents &Learners to Come back when schools resumes since the School is Safe now.
During this week, COVID-19 results released by ministry of health Kuyunga had 2 more COVID 19 Positive Truck Drivers Wanzala Paul UBF 359R from Kangulumira and Nduga Moses UBF 529Y from Nazigo; the two were picked by ministry of health team and taken to Mulago hospital.
Currently Kayunga district has a total of 10 Positive Cases of COVID-19, 5 being Truck drivers, 3 Contacts and 2 were treated by ministry of health and discharged are residents of Bbaale and were infected from Rwanda where they attended an Introduction ceremony.
