Mukono district local leadership has started a campaign of rehabilitating district and sub county roads with an aim of easing transportation of agriculture outputs and movement of people.
Currently effort is being put on roads located in Nagojje sub county were they grading over 45 kilometers some of which belongs to district while others to Nagojje as a local government of the area.
According to area councilor of Nagoojje Davis Lukyamuzi who represents it to Mukono district council says that these roads are expensive to maintain especially when its rainy season.
He explains that rain washes them away in just few weeks and this brings a big burden to district leadership.
Lukyamuzi says that district leadership through its chairman Andrew Ssenyonga will struggle to see that all roads in the district are passable using the available resources.
