NUP Fronts Harriet Nakwedde as Kayunga flag bearer on LCV chairmanship.

National Unity Platform (NUP) has announced Harriet Nakwedde as its flag bearer for LC V chairmanship in coming by-elections for Kayunga district.
You will recall that our elected district chairperson for Kayunga District Local Government Hon. Ffefekka Serubogo passed on. This created a vacuum which necessitated a by-election that has been scheduled for December 16th, 2021.

The committee conducted vetting, and consulted the people of Kayunga through field visits and surveys.
I accordingly announce that after the elaborate process,HON. HARRIET  NAKWEDDE  has emerged the winner, and she will carry the National Unity Platform flag in the upcoming election.

Meanwhile the election commission has issued the Elections road map
Nominations for Kayunga District  Local Government Council chairperson by-election will be conducted on Monday 29th to Tuesday 30th November 2021 at the Kayunga District Headquarters.
 Inspection of candidates’ nomination papers & lodging of complaints  will begin on Wednesday 1st to Monday 6th of  December 2021.
Campaign Program harmonization is scheduled for Wednesday 1st of December 2021.
The Campaigns will be conducted for 13 days, effective from Thursday 2nd to Tuesday 14th December, 2021.
Polling and Tallying of Results is scheduled for Thursday 16th December, 2021.
