ONC to team up with Christian leadership in Buikwe to celebrate National independence

Greater Mukono Office of the National Chairman NRM team has laid strategies of meeting with the leaders of Christian leadership in Buikwe District to celebrate the National independence day.

The function is due to take place on Friday 8^th.oct. 2023 at Mbikko Division grounds.

While in the meeting which was intended to plan for the independence night, ONC team led by Francis Okello, Kivumbi Jamadah and Ekopu Ibrahim all parties agreed to work hand in hand to put the country and HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni into prayers for the good deeds he has done for this nation.

Okello appreciated the work done by the born again pastors, not only to preach the word of God to the people within their respective areas but also to empower them to make sure that they earn a living, which he said that it is a good approach to wealth creation.

Among the activities done by the Christian leadership include, Farming both Agriculture and poultry keeping, Tailoring skills, Hairdressing Welding among Others.

The ONC team promised to lobby for the Churches through the ONC Manager Hajjat Hadijjah Namyalo with skilling equipment materials including sawing machines, dryers, and welding machines.
