Ugandan Rally Driver Ponsiano Lwakataka Remanded to Kauga Government Prison Agian

Ponsiano Lwakataka has been remanded to Kauga government prison found in Mukono municipality for second after failing to fulfill his bail application condition.

Lwakataka and his brother Ssekitoleko were granted bail in February when were charged with illegal eviction of resident in Lwanga Lwanda which is found in Goma division Mukono municipality.

Immediately the stepped in chief magistrate dock of Mukono presided over Patience Koburunga informed them their bail has been cancelled and remanded them to Kauga prison.

Lwakataka friends and family members tried to make phone calls to save him not to spend a night in Kauga prison but they yielded no positive results.

Lwakataka problems of land eviction began early this year when he stormed Kiwanga village in Mukono with a group of people and they demolished properties of George William Kawooya who is believed to be the owner of said land.
