PRESIDENT MUSEVENI APLOUDS BUGANDA REGION BUSINESS COMMUNITY FOR ORGANISING SUCCESSFUL LIBERATION SQUARE RALLY

The President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appreciated the good work done by the business community in Buganda Region and Mid-Western in a forums named Greater Masaka and Mid-western Business Pioneers Network (GMMBPN) led by Mr. Didus Natumanya, also a business investor with over 7000 association membership after holding a mega rally that has given the National Resistance Movement (NRM) a reason to believe early victory ahead of 2025, 2026 general elections.

According to President Museveni, the business community mobilized the people and made arrangements for the historical rally and advised them to continue making investments in Uganda’s economy through Agriculture and productive projects to employ most of the people especially the skilled youth from government-initiated skilling hubs such as Ndegeya skilling hub in Masaka City.

For Clarity, the GMMBPN is comprised of the following Districts; Masaka, Ssembabule, Lyantonde, Lwengo, Masaka City, Mbarara, Rakai, Isingiro, Ibanda, Bukomansimbi, Kiruhura and Kyotera with aim of transforming challenges into success while dealing in transport business, commercial agriculture, Dairy farming and service industry.

He said Hajjat Sarah Kiyimba also the owner of Brovad Hotel, has done an incredible work in employing most of the people so he deserves everyone’s support as an inspiring business investor and a supporter of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government.

“Majority of the people today are in business but hotel business employ many people like my daughter of Hotel Brovad and for her she employs many people,” said President Museveni.

For Clarity, Masaka City is composed of Masaka City Business community with members; Mr. Benon Mugarura, Mr. Sotius Ssegawa and Hajjat Sarah Kiyimba is an ardent member who has been a great mobiliser and funder of president Museveni’s rally and lead as the Vice Chairperson on the organizing committee for National Resistance Movement (NRM) party chairman President Museveni rally held at Liberation Square on Monday thus far.

Additionally, President Museveni said as he was delivering his speech at the presidential van in Yellow shirt and grey trousers that Uganda today needs people who are skilled in different professions and business domains and what is missing today are the people to support the ruling government so that they can be assisted in their business.

“The Government has a lot of developmental schemes but today I can’t promise anything as I can be taken to courts of law if I give out money to the small scale business owners here but what I can say is that let us first get out of elections period with victory and assist people,” said President Museveni.

In a nutshell, he observed that as Masaka City, they have been lagging backwards due to the hypocrisy of the leaders that are after serving their stomach and families than working together under unity, patriotism and built a better productive economy for all.

Mr. Didus Natumanya also the Patron for association said that most of the achievements they’ve been able to achieve were backed up and supported by the ruling government under President Museveni and he gave him two cattles as away of appreciation.

Additionally, he said that Mr. Museveni deserves to be crowned a victorious leader in the 2025-2026 general elections since he has done what it takes to lift the business community.

“I want to appreciate the President of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni for the good work done in funding us as a business community and I am very appreciative since I know that as a business community we shall support the president until he emerges victorious,” Said Mr. Natumanya during the photo moment with President Museveni whom he gave two out of the three cows given to President Museveni as a business community through Hajjat Sarah Kiyimba.
