From the deep trading center in Gayaza Village of Masaka City lays a well composed football pitch that has lived up longer in ages under the watchful eye and monitoring of Masaka City Municipal Council leadership and area Local chairperson Mr. Mohammad Ssempala.
Away from the beauty that lays at the vast recreational games played within the pitch, majority of the people in local community are too receptive and have been blessed with children and most of them are footballers fanatics and when Mr. Aloysius Ssebulime rose up with a football team; Kimanya, Kabonera Soccer Foundation the hope of the parents to see their children playing football was realized thus far.
Mr. Aloysius stood tall like a trojan and initiated a football team composed of 25 players and this has given a huge platform for youths to exercise their talents under the security remunerations of being contracted.
Majority of these young boys are from within the community and neighboring areas including students recruited as low as Secondary School level according to Mr. Aloysius.
The team has given ample time to the footballers to exercise their passion in football playing and this has impacted lives of the youths and empowered them through sport period.
The team; Kimanya, Kabonera Foundation has changed once saddened hearts of the parents and their children into smiling faces and this has been welcomed in the area as a successful story and a game changer for emerging professional football players in topflight league football teams in StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
According to Mr. Aloysius, they set off the idea of initiating up a football team since the community and the constituency under Kimanya, Kabonera had lived up without a football team that could nurture football players at a tender age and stage.

From the basis of achieving the dream, Mr. Aloysius has randomly worked in a unison with a team of sports stewards and managers led by him, Mr. Lawrence Lutabi, Julius Damba, Brian Mugenyi and Mr. Nahore to lead the team to the promised land of meeting its intended goals and motives.
The core aspect of the team formation lays in the principalities of recruiting young footballers and nurture them into formidable football players and this has randomly been achieved.
The motive behind succeeding with the dream ever since its formation was also to revive the lost glory of sports within Kimanya, Kabonera Constituency which the former has achieved thus far.
Mr. Aloysius has propelled the team into the level that attracts all and sundry and several footballers have been recruited and they are all subjected to weekly trainings and motivational fees under their subscribed contracts thus far.
According to Mr. Aloysius Ssebulime, the team has had talented footballers and they are looking forward to ensure that the players are nurtured to brave from all levels until they rocket themselves into topflight league.
The team has succeeded well in all fairness and it has worked miracles for the players led by goal talisman Najib Kamoga, Shadrach Bwabye, Hashim Ssegawa, Yokosofati Kakooza, Ali Bogere, Mahad Lubega, Lawrence Muzafaru, Vincent Ssempebwa, Begire Zubairi, Josuah Peter, Julius Ssembatya, Jovan Twaha Kazeyi and Mike Ssuuna Mujaasi and the community itself has been granted a vote of confidence in embracing sport as different people watch the team playing during their leisure time.
From the analytical point of view, sports generally in Greater Masaka under Kimanya, Kabonera Constituency had remained from the back curtains and the evolution of Kimanya, Kabonera Soccer Foundation has brought a moment of redemption among sports fans.
The team managers are very adamant with achieving the dreams of the team and they have radically laid tools and technics in inspiring the boys to play soccer in all fairness and achieve their longtime dreams of touching down to international contracts with teams in European leagues.
The dream of achieving the best out of sport, football in particular, needs teamwork, perfection and working hard to build-up the fitness levels through under going trainings which has been achieved by the footballers under coach Aloysius Ssebulime, also a Caf Licensed football tutor under the Federation of Uganda Football Association led by president Moses Magogo.
With ambition ahead of adhering to the professional ethics, several players have adapted as faster as possible and they’ve proved many spectators and the fans including their parents right in auctioning them into football playing.
It takes, time, knowledge and talent to master the game but all the 25 players recruited by coach Ssebulime have not disappointed his efforts and the managerial teamwork has propelled them to shoot stars and appealing to local leaders to get involved in the team management.
According to Mr. Ssebulime, they are willing to work with the community local leaders including area Member of Parliament and those in administration of sports in Masaka City to realize steady progress within the sports discipline in the county.
“We are targeting long-term dreams and our vision is clear that we are nurturing young talented football players so that they achieve their dreams and embrace sport as a professional discipline that earns footballers money in abundance and contacting us by emailing us at: ssebulimealoys2@gmail.com to connect with us professionally,” said Ssebulime.
The core aspect of living to the dream as Kimanya, Kabonera Soccer foundation is to ensure that sports development is evolved in Masaka City.
“The Masaka City is embraced with football team in regional leagues and the vision is to see a team in topflight league including annual football tournaments such as Masaza Cup which Masaka City is represented by Buddu County team and with our players several teams in the region could be feed with talents to achieve their dreams,” added Ssebulime who is looking forward to gain sponsorship from European teams in English premier League and getting affiliated to local league teams such as SC Vipers, Express FC and SC Villa to mention but a few in Star-Times Uganda Premier League.
As Masaka City, the dreams of developing sports in the area has been everyone’s dream as the area has had historical teams in Masaka Union in 1970s under the late John Mary Kasozi, Masaka Local Council under Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja and others vying to make their way in topflight league from regional competition such as Masaka City Football Team led by Nyendo/ Mukungwe Member of Parliament Mathias Mpuuga to revive the Masaka Recreation playground which is currently subjected to be renovated according to the Masaka City Municipal council authorities and funding from the government.
