According to UBC, The Luweero Bush war  was protracted war against the then President Milton Obote administration which was allegedly dictatorial in nature with increasing rates of killings, corruption, vote rigging and torture of civilians from the Obote administration.

As the nation approaches Heroes’ Day, a annual national public holiday in Uganda, Kaboyo’s message serves as a reminder of the importance of unity, peace, and dedication to the principles of prosperity for all. She called upon the church to continue interceding for God to transform the hearts and minds of those who perpetuate violence and oppression.

Kaboyo extended her utmost appreciation to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for his visionary leadership, sacrifice, and dedicated service to the country. She emphasized the importance of leaders and good citizens preaching and spreading the gospel of peace, unity, and prosperity for all.

As Uganda celebrates Heroes’ Day on June 9th, the nation will come together to honor the sacrifices made by the country’s heroes. The celebrations will serve as a reminder of the district’s vital role in Uganda’s journey towards peace and stability.
