Newly Appointed DIGP Major General Katsigazi starts touring Kampala

Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Major General Katsigazi Tumusiime has started touring Kampala Metropolitan area after assuming the office barely few months.

Major General Katsigazi who has worked in the army (UPDF) for period of over 30 years was appointed as the new DIGP  after the demise of Gen. Lokech on Aug. 21 after just eight months in the office. Katsigazi  met the Kampala Capital City(KCCA) , executive director, Dorothy Kisaka on Monday in her office at KCCA.

 Katsigazi said during an interview that he wants to work with everyone including the public in order to curb on cases of crime in the country.
