61st Independence: “We need to focus on Economic liberation,” Mr. Kakuru Philip NRM Rep in South Africa

Yesterday 09th Oct, Ugandans all over the world celebrated her independence.
Uganda in particular, the national celebrations were held in Northern Uganda, Kitgum district and were blessed by President of Uganda HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

In south Africa, Ugandans gathered at Uganda High Commission in Pretoria and had a fruitful celebration of 61st Independence of Uganda.

The NRM representative in south Africa, Hon Kakuru Philip while addressing the masses emphasized the need to fight for Economic liberation of Uganda and Africa at large.
He encouraged Ugandans in South Africa to use the celebrations to advance the social economic transformation agenda of NRM government to enable businesses flourish.

He expressed that NRM in south Africa is committed to looking for more opportunities, creating more jobs and creating more market for Ugandan goods as we achieve the social economic agenda of our motherland Uganda.

The Ambassador of Uganda in south Africa thanked Hon Philip Kakuru for uniting all Ugandans in South Africa fighting for social economic transformation of Uganda and Africa.

The celebrations in south Africa were as well blessed with Ambassadors and high class business people around the globe.
Ugandans in South Africa continue to open opportunities in business and investment for our motherland Uganda.
