AMBASSADOR WALUSIMBI FLAGS OFF YOUTHS FOR WORK IN DUBAI, CALLS FOR DISCIPLINE AND PATRIOTISM

Speaking while flagging off a contingent of Ugandan youth, who are leaving for Dubai to work, the Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs (SPA/DA), Ambassador Abbey Walusimbi, urged them to preserve good culture, and the spirit of patriotism, so that they can contribute to Uganda’s economic growth.

The Ambassador was addressing trainees, who recently concluded an orientation exercise at KHM International Consultants Limited in Kampala.

He encouraged the young-bodied men and women to master skills and knowledge acquired from the training and to use them during deployment at workplaces in Dubai.

In addition, he encouraged the youth to focus on work, and income-generating opportunities offered by employers, to improve the quality of life and that of families back home.

He emphasized, that because of H.E. President Museveni’s visionary leadership, labor externalization has been revamped, enabling Ugandan youth to thrive.

He added that the process of streamlining and harmonizing the sector was the government’s effort to ensure continuity, and implored the youth to front the spirit of patriotism.

The Ambassador, at large, also reminded them that, the government is keenly following, forging ways to uplift the rights and welfare of Ugandan migrant workers.
