 COUNCIL FOR ABAVANDIMWE LEADERS RALLIES UGANDANS  TO VOTE FOR PRESIDENT MUSEVENI

The council for Abavandimwe Leaders have rallied all Ugandans to vote for  President Museveni during the 2026 general elections.

According to Mr. Paul Ntale, the executive member representing youth said that  they have registered numerous number of youth dealing in several businesses and leadership positions during president Museveni’s regime, that’s why they have all decided to show him full support in his campaign trail.

He said most of the youth have been struggling to make ends meet and those who used  government  projects have never remained the same.

” I call upon all youth in Greater Mukono where i come from and all over the Country to come in huge numbers to welcome President Museveni in big numbers wherever he goes.

As the Council For Abavandimwe led by our chairman Mr. Frank Gashumba have a reason to  appreciate the president for what he has done for the Abavandimwe  living in Uganda,” said Mr. Paul Ntale during an interview.

President Museveni is starting his campaign in Greater Mukono on Friday 2nd January and all the youth as primary stakeholders in the ruling government are encouraged to attend his rallies in huge numbers.

” It is an opportunity to host the President of Uganda and show him love what he has done for us as the youth including extending social services in the area so that we get out of poverty that gives us the audacity to vote for him as our President,” added Mr. Ntale.

Mr. Frank Gashumba also the Chairman for Abavandimwe group in Uganda said under the National Resistance Movement party leadership led by President Museveni they’ve been able to receive citizenship as Ugandans despite facing early criticism and dethronement from accessing Passports and National Identity cards from government institutions such as (NIRA) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and because of President Museveni they have been able to receive them this far.

”We’ve been able to receive our passport papers as adopted citizens of Uganda from foreign countries and this is a good work done by President Museveni so let us be here at Cricket Oval and attend the thanks giving prayers for our President in huge numbers,” said Mr. Gashumba.

Mr. Gashumba said the preparations of the first ever Abavandimwe carnival and all those who are protecting the gains, married Bavandimwe, Inlaws, those willing to marry Bavandimwe are all invited on Saturday 3rd January 2026.

For clarity, President Museveni campaigned in the Buganda region last week and has been welcomed mostly by the youthful leaders and voters and as Greater Mukono  a lot is expected from the National Resistance Movement NRM Party Chairman

The general elections in Uganda are scheduled on 15th January 2026 for the presidential seat and President Museveni who has been at the whelms of Uganda’s Presidency since 1986 is seeking for more five years term as the National Resistance Movement chairman.
