EID CELEBRATIONS; Al-Hajji Kigongo, Butambala RDC Encourages Muslims to Support Their Children at School

The National Vice Chairman of National Resistance Movement Al-hajj Moses Kigongo and RDC Butambala District Hajj Lubwama Sulaiman Bukya have encouraged the Muslim community in Butambala County to support their school going children with scholastic materials so as to keep them in schools.

In their respective addresses to the Eid day prayers congregation at Kibibi grounds, Al-hajj Moses Kigongo called on the congregation to utilize the free UPE and USE school programs to educate their children so as to enlighten their future.

Kigongo added that Butambala will shine in future if  Children get high standards in education and become professionals, saying that all good Jobs in Government needs qualified people.

“The NRM Government have constructed good schools in the area, we are waiting for your children to utilise them, we shall not tolerate illiteracy  in Butambala” Kigongo said.

The RDC Butambala district Hajj Lubwama Sulaiman Bukya used the same moment to call on the masses to embrace government poverty eradication programs such as PDM, Emyooga and Youth Livelihood Program so as to improve their social well being.

In attendance were various local leaders including the district NRM leadership, deputy RDC and Asst RDCs.
