FUFA Big League: Proline Plays a Goalless Draw with Kiboga Young

Proline FC was held to a goalless draw away to Kiboga Young in one of the three Rwenzori Group matches played in the FUFA Big League 2018/19 on Friday.

In the game played at the Busumate playgrounds, either side dominated play on different occasions but could not find the break through.

Proline had the best chances in the game but their attacking trio led by League top scorer Ivan Bogere, could not bleach the Kiboga defense.

As the game grew old, either side looked contented with a point on the day, as they resorted to retaining possession without committing numbers forward.

Proline goalkeeper Hassan Matovu  was busy in action and he made several saves when Kiboga young tried to look for goals which could have made it to go on top of that group.

Matovu was again alert to parry away Duncan Ssemakula’s long ball out of defence, denying Peter Lumolo in a keeper to beat situation.

Despite the draw, Proline remains top of the Rwenzori group with 38 points, one ahead of second placed Kansai Plascon.
