JEEMA Cancels its Political Rally due to failure to Agree with Police on Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine)

In the recent months the Justice Forum party JEEMA headed by Hon. Asuman Basalirwa the Bugiri Municipality MP who also doubles as the People Power Busoga Region coordinator embarked on rebranding the party with new grass-root leaders which will see them get new leadership in the upcoming National delegates conference.
This exercise has been seen in areas like kyotera were Tebajwa Adam was installed as the new Kyotera District chairperson and it was in this rally that the party leadership declared that the next stop was to be Kamuli District in Buzaaya sub county on the 23/02/2020 (today).
This rally has however been cancelled citing failure to agree with police conditions.In a press statement released yesterday evening by the party spokesperson Mr. Sentongo Kyamundu noted that the police set four unfair conditions which the party cannot fulfill.
Among other conditions was a guarantee that the People power boss Hon. Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine will not be at the rally, this has come due to the health working relationship between Bobi Wine and JEEMA.
The other conditions was proof of an ambulance and fire extinguishers which on the event, providing a written document from the IGP allowing them to hold a rally which JEEMA thinks its no where as a must, and after Completing the above, pay a sum of seven hundred thousand 700,000/= to pay the policemen who will be on duty.
The justice forum therefore sees all these as illegal and can’t comply with them.On a phone interview Mr. Sentongo told The scribe news that they will not stop their country wide rallies in a bid to change their grassroot leadership.
