Journalist Andrew Mwenda Joins National Unity Platform

Journalist Andrew Mwenda has called for a presidential debate for National Unity Platform between himself and party leader H.E Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine). He says he wants to stand against him and defeat him for the party flag bearer in the Presidential race.

Mwenda who appeared on one of local television station in Kampala challenged NUP spokes person Joel Ssenyonyi saying that their party is not tolerant to people who oppose Kyagulanyi.

At the end of the talk show Mwenda vowed to storm NUP party headqaurters to pick nomination forms to challenge Kyagulanyi for party leadership.

He was welcomed and paid his party membership fee and he officially became NUP party member.
