Dr Diana Atwine-The Permanent Secretary- Ministry of Health was today in Kayunga District on a supervision visit to the constructions being done in the District whereby she inspected Kayunga Main Hospital and Bukamba HC II and then Bbaale HCIV & Galiraya HCIII for RBF Monitoring.
She has permitted the District to use some parts of the Hospital before being officially handed over since the biggest part of work has been done.
She thanked the Arab contractors for the work well-done & said that there is value for money. She also appreciated the district leadership for Synergist.
She said that Kayunga hospital is to be upgraded from a District General Hospital to a Regional Referral Hospital because of new facilities which have been put in this hospital during renovation.
RDC of Kayunga thanked the President for the big project and Arab Contractors for the monthly meetings and for quality works.
Kayunga district is found in Buganda region and its surrounded by many districts but majority of them are being separated by water bodies and some of those districts include Mukono, Kamuli, Buikwe, Luwero, Nakasongola among others.
