NUP wins Goma Division Youth Councilor Elections

The National Unity Platform (NUP) has won youth elections in Goma Division which is found in Mukono municipality with a big margin.

These youth elections have been held on Monday and in Goma Division it had three political parties, NUP candidate Simon Peter Mwebe got 190, Mugabe Mathias of NRM got 39 and lastly Chandiga Ahmed got 26.

In the race of female NUP candidate Shannon Mubuuke scored 149, Nakamanya Rachel independent scored 63 and lastly Edith Tumuhiirwe of NRM scored 44.

Mukono municipal NUP registrar Lugolobi Kasirivu says this is the beginning of the journey of the New Uganda and are determined to win at all levels come 14^th, Thursday of this week.
