Uganda Christian University law society to elect new leaders

Law students at the Uganda Christian University is set to elect its new leadership.

According to the UCU Law Society electoral commission vice chairman, Mr. Martin Jjuuko, the nomination of new office bearers are underway. He said that the nominations will be closed on the 28th of February ahead of the general elections on 12rh March.

The Law society has also written to the Uganda Electoral Commission to support this election.

In a letter seen by The Scribe News, Mr. Jjuuko asked the electoral commission in Kampala to provide them with some items necessary for a peaceful elections.

The letter was received by the Uganda Electoral Commission through the Director of Students’ affair of the Uganda Christian University in Mukono.

The Uganda Christian University is a Mukono based private university founded by the Church of Uganda
