UPDF’s Maj. Gen. Jack Bakasumba promoted to Lieutenant General
The Chief of Defence Forces in the UPDF, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has promoted the Ugandan army’s Chief of Joint Staff, Major General Jack Bakasumba to the rank of Lieutenant General.
According to the Monday evening promotions, the Joint Staff Officer for Human Resource Management, Brigadier General James Kinalwa to Major General while Brigadier General Aloysius Asingura Kagoro, the legal advisor of the UPDF has been promoted to Major General.
The development comes after the Police Crime Intelligence Director, Brig Christopher Ddamulira was also promoted to the rank of Major General in the UPDF.
