As for clarity, Hotel Next was opened up on 1st July 2023 and it has raised the flag of tourism sector higher in the Uganda and its flat topped structures with blue colors mulled on its outer face and white colors indoor attracts all and sundry with historical portraits and fine-tuned artwork designed on its wall faces along Soweto Sub-Parish in Masaka City.

Born to Mr. Micheal Titus Kiwanuka and Ms Pascazia Nansubuga residents of Kisoso Village in Masaka City, Mr. Sotius Ssegawa is Married to wife, Kevine Ssegwa residents of Kyabakuza suburb and is a graduate with a bachelors Degree and information technology from Mutesa 1 Royal University, Post graduate diploma in project planning and management and a Diploma in Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Such prowess and skills attained by the owner has added value to the maintenance and re-development of the Hotel facility as the hotel keeps the ball rolling in attracting both local and foreign clients with tourists from countries such as; United States of America, Dubai, Canada and others from within African Continent keeps on exploring the pearl of African continent by getting accomodation at the hotel as they visit nearby tourism places such as game parks; Queen Elizabeth National Park and other memorial cultural sites such as Buddu County quarters under County chief Jude Muleke.

“I have a journey to walk and create a difference in the hotel business in Masaka City and Uganda is my major driving factor,” said Mr. Sotius Ssegawa.

“Several organisations and companies are joining us into business and we’ve clients from different countries coming to enjoy our facilities,” added Ssegawa.

Hotel Next boost with three floors and the facility holds 34 rooms with internet and inbuilt-up Air Conditioner (AC) ranging at shs: 300,000 for the executive rooms and shs: 250,000 for double occupancy rooms and shs: 250,000 for other double rooms.

The demand curve and the influence of people and their resettlement from rural areas into Masaka City centers gave Hotel Next a vote of confidence to prepare good services with both local and international foods, local juice of all kinds offered to clients and the breakfast, lunch and supper are always served by receptive hotels employees.

“Professionally I have learnt a lot by working for big organizations like “The American Tower Company, Airtel, Umeme, UEDCL and many others which  boosted me and my fellow teammates and we were able to learn a lot in business and they were transparent and eager to boost local content which inspired me a lot to invest locally in Hotel management and I learnt a lot from them,” shared Sotius Ssegawa during an interview.
