JUST IN: ASP Emma Bagenda OC Police Ntawo Shot Dead

ASP Emma Bagenda, the former Officer in Charge of Ntawo Police Station in Mukono Municipality, was shot dead Sunday night, November 23, 2025, police sources have confirmed.

Its alleged that the deceased was tipped  by residents that there is a gang of thieves who were travelling from Goma to Ntawo using Nyenje rout on motor cycles with Guns,  he then went with his men to stop them and the suspects immediately opened fire.

The attack left the OC dead, one police constable injured, and a police-issued firearm stolen during the incident.

Authorities have launched investigations to identify and apprehend the assailants.

Local law enforcement officials have appealed for public cooperation in providing information that could lead to the capture of those responsible.
