IMPERSONATOR: Presidency disowns Rogers Bulegeya as Presidential Assistant

Office of the President has disowned Rogers Bulegeya, says President Museveni hasn’t appointed him as Presidential Assistant.

The Secretary Office of the President, Hajji Yunus Kakande has clarified that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has not appointed Rogers Bulegeya as Senior Presidential Assistant on National Mobilisation.

“We don’t have that position and the President hasn’t appointed him,” Hajji Kakande said today in a phone call with this online news website.

He further noted that self appointment is criminal and if Bulegeya continues calling himself a Staff of the President’s office,he will be arrested.

On the other hand, even the State House Human Resource department disowned him.

Bulegeya is the National Resistance Movement (NRM) chairperson for Masaka City.

The clarification comes hot on the heels of Bulegeya’s claims that he was recently appointed to the position.
