Mukono based Kyetume Football Club on Thursday beat Dove FC from Masindi to storm the finals for the FUFA Big League playoffs in a game played at the StarTimes stadium at Lugogo.
Kyetume took the lead through an own in the 34th minute for the Mukono based team to take the lead into recess but the Masindi based team twice moved from a goal down to force the game into a two-all draw in normal time.
The game later went into penalty shootouts that saw Dove FC falter for the Nakisunga based team to progress.
Veteran players Vincent Kayizzi, Owen Kasule and Steven Sande scored their penalties for Kyetume FC whereas only Robert Santos Baluku and Andrew Omego put their balls past the goal line.
Kyetume FC have now stormed the FUFA Big League playoff finals and will be playing paint makers Plascon who won UPDF also on penalties and winner will take the third slot in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
