At Bulange, Hajjat Hadijah was received by Owek. Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu, Minister for youth, sports and recreation in Buganda Kingdom.
The two addressed a brief press conference after Hajjat’s arrival.
In her remarks, Hajjat Hadijah reassured the minister of President Yoweri Museveni’s full support to the Kingdom.
She also mentioned that her visit is meant to reiterate president Yoweri Museveni’s guidance on living healthy lives especially the youth.
SPA Hajjat Hadijah announced that she will be contributing the upcoming Kabaka Borthday Run by buying kits worth shs30m.
Owek. Ssekabembe thanked Hajjat Hadijah for visiting the Kingdom and asked her to extend appreciation from the Bulange to H.E President Yoweri Museveni for the support.
He thanked Hajjati Namyalo for leading the youths who accompanied him, and thanked her for coming out to support the royal initiatives including buying tickets for the recent Buganda provincial football tournament.
She is slated to meet the Buganda Kingdom premier, Owek Charles Peter Mayiga for talks.
