The tales of Ms Jovia Nakato to end up with a swollen and burnt right hand is a one that is telling as she struggles to use the hand to execute activities such as fetching water, watching clothes and preparing food on a chilly Thursday in Sseguku suburbs of Kampala City as major roles of an African woman in any family.

Ms Jovia Nakato saw her right hand almost burnt in 2021 general elections as the voters from the opposition side during the subjected her to toucher and intimidation as a group of people alledged her as chief campaigner of President Museveni’s votes rigging incident that climaxed at Ndeba suburbs in Kironde Zone of Kampala City.

In April 2021, Ms Nakato narrates that the public rose to the heighest and organised a mob justice and razed fire onto her right hand alleging her of conniving into rigging votes that saw President Museveni re-elected in Kironde Village, Ndeba suburbs in Kampala City.

At Ndeba Suburbs polling station where the whole stampede between opposition voters and Ms Jovia Nakato climaxed left President Museveni emerging victorious and such left many opposition voters and leaders in dismay and tormenting.

The incident left Ms Nakato almost losing her right hand and was forced to leave Ms Nakato worried and left her home in Ndeba suburbs in Kampala and parted away to look for redemption in far distant areas in upcountry as the police in Kibuye and Ndeba police station assisted heavily too in safeguarding her life and family from angry voters from opposition side that left Mr. Robert Kyagulanyi’s National Unity Platform also a major competitor in elections losing to President Museveni.

In April 2021, Ms Nakato appeared in Bukedde newspaper up in arms with the opposition side voters alleging her of involving herself in president Museveni’s votes rigging and since then she has been facing touch times and days to gain pubic sympathy and jobs from employees as she nolonger work after the incident.

Since then, Ms Nakato has been surviving on getting meagre financial support from friends and well-wishers as she lost her job and nolonger working with her children too not attending school due to lack of funds.

Ms Jovia Nakato appeals to president Museveni to assist in getting her funds to cater for her life aspirations and children in family as they starve to find a meaningful life and purpose after losing public credibility and support and succumbing blackmail from the voters in election over votes rigging while mobilizing for President Museveni’s election heavily tarnished her reputation.

Ever since she left Kironde Zone in Ndebba village, life became so unbearable for Ms Jovia Nakato and she has been struggling to find ends meet and start off agro-business and investing in farming although she is still struggling to find funds to realise her dream come true.

By nature, Ms Jovia Nakato is a down to earth woman and a born again Christian whose love for children, National Resistance Movement party (NRM) and people is fascinating and wishes president Museveni to get re-elected in 2026 general elections.

“My biblical message to president Museveni is in the holy book of Galatians 5:22 so that president Museveni remains merciful to rule Uganda and extend progressive development among the people in the country,” Ms Jovia Nakato observed.

The daughter of Ms Jovia Nakato, Debra Nantongo is remembered for having entertained president Museveni during 2021 general elections campaign in Masaka City and Ms Nakato believes president Museveni could help and educate all her children so that they live a good and better life.

President Museveni secured 5.85 million votes in 2021 general elections or 58.64 percent, of the total votes cast, while main opposition candidate Bobi Wine won 3.48 million votes or 34.83 percent under the Justice Simon Mugenyi Byamuka’s led electoral commission and the voter turnout was 52 percent in Uganda.

Ms Jovia Nakato took on the noose to rally for voting of President Museveni and has emotionally appealed to president Museveni to assist in meeting her in person and support her with funds to regain a house and stable family needs with her children.

However, Ms Jovia Nakato is still adamant that she must rally for President Museveni’s re- election in 2026 general elections and she cries out to president Museveni to reach out to her on phone contacts: 0703924168 and 0767982942 and support her and family entirely.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni married to wife Janet Kataha Museveni has been Uganda’s President since 1986 and looking forwad to tie the knot of forty years in 2026 general elections as a historical President Uganda has ever had ever since the country got independence from the Monarch and colonial system of government in 1962.
