Residents in Kayunga District are in Panic after a Man tested Positive of COVID-19
A truck driver Kikomeko Tadeo and a resident of Kayunga district tested positive and has been identified at Kangulumira at gazzeted collection center in Kangulumira- Kamuli, we have contacted the MOH, ambulance service to come and pick him.
He was tested at Lwakaka boarder in Mbale, the district task force thanked the Ntenjeru south HSD surveillance team for the commendable work of surveillance, great thanks go to Kaweesi, Lucy, Dr Ssebamala, Stephen, Elizabeth, Antony and OC Kangulumira.
The District surveillance team has now joined them to identify all contacts. But remember we are also tracing for another truck driver by names Magona Robert from Nazigo who tested positive on 22/5/29 also and went back to south Sudan.
Ministry of health ambulance came and picked him; however imagine the number people he interacted with in Kangulumira.
Members in Kayunga district have been asked to continue observing the Dos and Dots of COVID -19 guidelines.
The district task force decided to publish the names because they can help the concerned officials to get all their contacts.
Currently the task force is looking for Chairman LC 1 of Kamuli village also found in Kayunga who is believed to have been in contact with the victim.
The victim is a resident of Kangulumira but he transports agriculture produce from Kayunga district to neighboring countries which its believed to have got infected with COVID-19 pandemic.
