Mukono North Member of Parliament and also State Minister for Water Ronald Kibuule its alleged that he has bought out al his could be opponents in forth coming NRM primaries.

The first person who showed interest to uproot Kibuule was Yahaya Were deputy RDC Tororo this one dropped saying that they reached an agreement with minister.

People are wondering what forced Were to drop out of the race after accusing Kibuule to have performed poorly in parliament and also in the constituency for the last four years.

While addressing journalists on EID day Were said that after meeting the minister he decided to drop out of the race and give Kibuule a chance to continue representing this constituency for next five years.

The second person to drop out of the race is Kenneth Nsubuga Ssebayunga who has been opposing Kibuule’s representative of Mukono North in parliament.

Nsubuga in last general elections of 2016 he competed against minister Kibuule and he lost to him and he conceded defeat immediately they declared Kibuule winner of those polls.

This time Nsubuga has been seen as someone who had potential to unseat Kibuule but voters were surprised to hear news that he had dropped out of the race.

This is what minister Kibuule posted on his social media platform:

Our party National Vice chairperson, Al Haji Moses Kigongo has today hosted me and my Brother Nsubuga Kenneth Ssebayunga to harmonize positions and agree away forward for the victory of our party in Mukono district.

The vice chairperson reiterated the importance of all sides actively working together and dialogue at all structures to have the party merge winner in the ongoing party elections at all levels.

This meeting with my contender shows the commitment to see us have a one common agenda for the people of Mukono beyond politics and political rivalry.

Now Kibuule awaits his opponents who will be field by opposition political parties and independents in coming general elections.
