Rev. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa Eyes Mukono District Chairmanship Come 2021

Rev. Peter Bakaluba Mukasa has returned back into politics after being silent for the last three years. This time he is aiming at unseating Senyonga Andrew from the leadership of Mukono District local government.
Bakaluba had politically served two times as a member of parliament for Mukono North and Mukono south respectively.
Since he lost his parliament position to Muyanja in 2016, he went silent and decided to concentrate on building his business career.
He had since then established a children’s amusement centre in Mukono town and worked on developing his schools.

Last year, Bakaluba went to Japan for a period close to one year. This move was seen by his political rivals as a strategy to lure international partners to support his political career.
When he came back, he has now declared publicly that he will stand for the district chairmanship saying that this will help him to revive the glory of the district which he says has been sinking at the hand of careless politicians.
The next general elections are expected in 2021
