“Stop the Politics of Tribalism and Deceit” ISO Boss Katabazi urges Students Leaders

The Deputy Director Internal Security Organization ISO Col. Emmy Katabazi has urged the students leader to avoid getting involved in politics of tribalism and deceit saying that they should embrace integrity and focus on reading and learning.

“As young leaders, I urge you to reject politics of deceit, class, and tribalism.

In my years of experience, I have come to realize that we are all equal, with no distinction in blood groups between Bakiga, Acholi, or any other tribe; instead we are all Ugandans” Katabazi said.

“It’s incumbent upon you to be patriotic. I’m dismayed when I see some of you spending your money betting on international football clubs instead of supporting our own national team, the Uganda Cranes.

Such behavior indicates that you’re socially disconnected. To lead effectively, you must equip yourselves with knowledge and the moment you stop reading and learning, your minds will stagnate yet as leaders, it’s essential to stay informed, you need to think critically, and make informed decisions that benefit our great nation, Uganda.” He added.

Col. Katabazi was on Tuesday addressing  Student leaders of Higher Institutions of learning undergoing a two-week Patriotism training program at Nkumba University During a Patriotism training course intended to inculcate a feeling of responsibility and Leadership among Uganda’s future Leaders
