Buganda Beat Lango 1-0 to Qualify for FUFA Drum Quarter-Finals
Buganda Province has qualified for the FUFA Drum quarter-finals after dramatically beating Lango 1-0 in group B at Uganda Technical College, Lira.
Viane Sekajugo scored the first-half only goal to give Buganda hope and hold on up to last minute. This was a performance that acting head coach, David Mutono and the team’s fans can be immensely proud of.
Buganda were without a number of first-team players for Sunday evening match and very few people thought they stood a chance before Lango’s capacity crowd.
